Curtain Size Chart for Common Window Sizes
Use common window widths as a starting point for curtain panel width, total curtain width, and rod size.
A curtain size chart is useful for quick planning, but your final answer should still reflect mount type, fullness, and panel width. Treat the numbers below as starting points for standard 2x fullness.
Common Starting Points
- 36 inch window: about 72 inches total curtain width.
- 48 inch window: about 96 inches total curtain width.
- 60 inch window: about 120 inches total curtain width.
- 72 inch window: about 144 inches total curtain width.
Before You Buy
Check the actual panel width on the product page. A pair of 52 inch panels gives 104 inches total width, which may be enough for some windows but too narrow for others.
